Our Pharmacy Science Program for 2024–2025

Program Highlights 

  • Prepare prescriptions by measuring, weighing, mixing, and compounding medications.
  • Work alongside and assist licensed pharmacists in retail, long-term care facilities, pharmaceutical manufacturers, insurance companies, and government agencies.
  • Deliver great customer service, manage inventory, and maintain the quality and purity of drugs.

Career Focus

  • Students successfully completing the two year program have the opportunity to test for the pharmacy technician, CPR, and OSHA healthcare industry certifications. In addition, students have the opportunity to earn Central Arizona College Allied Health college credit while attending the program at no cost if dual enrollment requirements are met.

  • Hourly: $12.55-$17.98
  • Annual: $26,100-$35,350
