Our Behavioral Health Program

Program Highlights

  • Work with doctors and nurses by carrying out treatment plans for patients experiencing behavioral problems
  • Work on the front lines of hospitals, shelters, and mental health facilities to make a difference for struggling individuals
  • Provide and record patient medications and assist in daily therapeutic and recreational activities

Career Focus

  • Prepared for state certification, immediate employment, and further education

Program Length

The behavioral health program is two years in length. Students have the opportunity to obtain article 9 certification, as well as, OSHA 10-hour healthcare and CPR instruction.

Students successfully completing the program have the opportunity to earn free dual enrollment college credit providing all requirements are met.

Behavioral Health Technician Entry Level Salary Range*

  • Hourly: $12.55–$15.08
  • Annual: $26,104–$31,366
